General information:
The Austrian-Canadian Society was incorporated in 1964 by a small group of Austrians who joined together to maintain, to nurture and to share Austria’s rich culture and tradition. In 1980, the Austrian-Canadian Society celebrated the grand opening of its home, the Austrian-Canadian Cultural Centre (A.C.C.C.) located at 3112 – 11 Street N.E. in Calgary.
The Austrian-Canadian Society is presently under the direction of an elected board consisting of a president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer and five directors.

Members receive the “Austrian-Canadian Society News” with information about upcoming events, messages of importance about the Society and general material of interest about Austria.
Membership fee is $ 45.00 annually for individuals or family.
There are a lot of events during the year for our members to enjoy:
Dinner Dances - always with delicious food and a live band.
Oktoberfest (for 2 weeks after the Thanksgiving week-end )with a band from Austria.
Concerts and Sporting Events - Ski Race, Golf Tournament and Hiking trips.
To the general public the Austrian-Canadian Society offers banquet facilities for every need such as company parties at Christmas, Oktoberfests, etc., meetings, seminars,
private parties such as wedding receptions, anniversary or birthday celebrations, re-unions or other events celebrated by social groups, sport groups or individuals.
